It’s Another Example of the 1% Making Money on the Backs of the 99% !

671 Peralta
A Beauty Built on Evil Greed!

Christopher and Angela Mae Gibbs picked up the modest home of a Black working family for a song from Wells Fargo Bank and now resold it within six months selling it at over $1.3 million dollars out pricing the families that built the community.   THEY QUICKLY FLIPPED IT TO THE AMBATI'S FOR A OVERPRICED RENTAL.

World War II Veteran Jack Stowers & LPN  Maggie Stowers fought discrimination, bank red-lining, and other deceptive practices to provide a home for their family.  The Stowers passed in the '90's and now foreclosure has stripped away the home that has been in their family for over 50 years.   Wells Fargo illegally stripped away affordable housing and a place for Veterans and Youth at Risk, the Stower's plan for 671 Peralta Avenue. Now the Ambati Family, Investors from Fresno, who don't live in the property has made it into an almost $7,000 monthly rental.  The inheritance of the Stowers 4 sons, 15 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren is being robbed by financials bullies!

The Internet is full of articles that show that the banking system has failed Americans while Americans stood up for the banking system.

The $9 Billion Witness: Meet JPMorgan Chase's Worst Nightmare: http://rol.st/1onSu18

Wells Fargo Bank acquired 671 Peralta Avenue via a predatory loan and a trail of failed and guilty banks: Country Wide, World Savings Bank, and Wachovia.

 Black Human RightsLeadership Council.
671 Prelate Avenue in Bernal Heights was purchased over 50 years ago by a World War II Veteran, the father of Allen Stowers, ( San Francisco Filmmaker Jacquie Taliaferro, his professional name).

Stowers joined ACCE to protest the foreclosure of his home along with others at at Wells Fargo Branches, the home of President John Stumpf and other executives.  Protest like the one shown in the video at the home of Wells Fargo Executive Brenda Wright, a Black executive with the company, made the company retaliatory and recalcitrant to offer a modification.

He’s been asking for years for a modification so that he could turn the home into affordable housing with providing veterans or foster care youth with rooms while the bank could get its mortgage money and others could be helped.

The Bank had deaf ears even to the point of selling his house to investors Veronica Becetta, Peter Becerra, Veronica Martin that bought the home May 31, 2012 while it was protected by bankruptcy.  The banks disregard for the law was evident.  Wells Fargo.

#Blacklivesmatter and #Blackhomesmatter on the home front on the frontline —What happened to filmmaker Jacquie Taliaferro is tantamount to San Francisco’s Redevelopment Assault Against Black Families.

What happened is equivalent to the onslaught of the 1% on artists in Bernal Heights and all over San Francisco.

What happened is equivalent to the 1% favoring itself by having taxpayers bail out the too big to fail banks that turned around and did nothing for the everyday homeowners.

Mayor Edwin Lee’s Office, although receiving taxpayers money, cannot figure out how to help everyday citizens while the 1% like AirBNB, were allowed to go years without paying millions in taxes.

Mayor’s Lee’s Office has sung a weak song of trying to stop Black Migration from San Francisco with the Outmigration   While creating task forces, hiring overseers, and giving out reports, homes like the Stowers family have been robbed.

Mayor Lee, Supervisors, Attorney General, State Senators, Senators and U.S. Representatives, why did you not respond to the needs of people like the Stowers’ Family?

In San Francisco, why didn’t the Mayor create a fund for reworking modifications of the loans of the homes of the 99%?  Surely, something a little more creative than N-O-T-H-I-N-G!

Those so called government plans to help homeowners, were nothing more than smoke-screens, allowing banks to be enriched while homeowners were in some cases given $1.00 settlements?  Surely Wall Street continues to laugh up its sleeves.

Please don’t think it’s just a personal problem?  All of this will impact you in some way some how if justice is not achieved.  Even the AARP is warning YOU to take action to protect all YOUR hard earned retirement money as $17 billion dollars could be taken by the Wolves of Wall Street http://action.aarp.org/site/MessageViewer?dlv_id=98941&em_id=80981.0.

It’s just a slap of a back, shake of a hand and one meeting away that you’ll find the financial systems are off track to rob and fleece all.

The response by many to people who have lost their homes in San Francisco as seen in comments to articles has been… "Too bad, can't afford to live in San Francisco move!"

At  a recent regional Mayors meeting, It was suggested that San Francisco's Affordable Housing be built in Oakland.  Read for yourself in the SF Business Times February 23, 2015:

http://www.bizjournals.com/sanfrancisco/blog/real-estate/2015/02/san-francisco-bristles-at-schaafs-idea-to-pour.html
The implications of that article are unconscionable.

The City of San Francisco uses the numbers of Blacks under the poverty line to get federal funding, but the money pays for everything but the intended target market.

How is that?

  • The Community Reinvestment Act-created to make up for Redlining-winds up being no more than a few brochures given out and financial literacy training to low income neighborhoods.  There's no true investment in people.

  •  San Francisco, remember the consent decree funds of San Francisco Unified School District; everyone benefited except Black students.

  • Most recently, remember the community meetings in the Bayview asking input from the neighborhood about how the millions set aside for the people of the Bayview would be used—What have you seen of  that effort now housed with the San Francisco Foundation?

Old time San Francisco, You know other examples of the institutional racism that is evil covered under skirts of the "Most Beautiful City in the World."

San Francisco,  “YOU COULD NOT STAND THE TRUTH,” veiled in the beautiful side of evil, if it were to come out.

Don’t Buy 671 Peralta Avenue!

While a lawsuit was filed in Federal Courts, once again ignoring the Law, Wells Fargo sold it to investors Christopher and Angela Gibbs.

As the couple bought and sold the property between each other, the question raises up, why is it that banks and the law say that during short sales relatives  or friends of foreclosed properties cannot buy the property back?

How can related investors buy and sell between each other, but relatives of a foreclosed property owner cannot?-see history

Yet when it comes to having investors easily pick up a home for pennies on the dollars, it's o.k. for them to pass the bucks between each other to seal a deal.

The Gibbs have taken an affordable property and made it unaffordable for the average San Franciscan, increasing the gap between the "Haves and the Have nots!"

To the Gibbs, you are part of the collusion.  Get the money you invested in the property back from Wells Fargo Bank because they did not disclose all of the truth about the property.   You were deceived.  If you don’t take Action to have the sale rescinded, you don’t care.  Is it that you are deceived or don’t care!

Wells Fargo Bank Officials in collusion with the courts and other corporations to increase your bottom line on the backs of Americans.
